This puzzle has a random pattern, the system isn't sure that it can be solved, and the author is no longer here. Should I take it offline?

I'm leaning toward taking it offline, but happy to hear input if anybody thinks it should be kept.

I'd keep it if it has a single solution.

Through trial and error I confirmed the puzzle has a unique solution, but I couldn't find a more logical way to solve it than guess and check.
