IF this is a pic of a rising moon out the window with very interesting curtains, it's beautiful and should have many more stars.

If it's something else, I have no idea what it is.

I'm going with "A".

Opposite of "Snowmageddon": one single snowflake, hence "Nomageddon".

Bill, since the puzzle title is Nomageddon, I am guessing it's about Nome, Alaska - land of the midnight sun. Maybe the point is that in the springtime it is very startling when the sun reappears.

Anyway, that's my theory!

Snowmageddon was a horrendous snowstorm that hit the northeast in November of 2014. Especially hard hit was Buffalo NY and the surrounding area which received snowfall totals of up to 88 inches (7'4", or 2.25m). There were videos of people opening their front door to a wall of snow.

Since this puzzle was made sometime in 2015, I assume that it was in response to a forecasted big storm that didn't pan out, playing on the (then) well known name of snowmageddon.

Good insight, Joe. Of course, there is not yet absolute confirmation, but your comment sheds a lot of light on context.
