Drinking water from the hose bib.

Found to have a unique solution by valerie.

Found to be solvable by line and color logic alone by valerie.

Lol Jota...drinking water from the hose was a rite and a right of childhood...but then I am 71 and it was a simpler time. The hose was always out and we always did that and never gave it a second thought. We always turned the water off afterward of course...no sense leaving it run.

...I guess we mostly drank from the hose, though, not directly from the faucet, as this picture shows...a couple of times maybe...but the hose was always hooked up to our only really accessible faucet.

We drank from the hose all summer. Mom didn't want us running in and out of the house. And that water always tasted great.

The boys did it, but I didn't like the taste. We would, however, hold it over our heads to cool/clean off.

If you used the hose, you had to let it run for a bit to get cool, non-rubber tasting water.
