Puzzle Description:

"Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" a 1978 comedy film directed by John De Bello. The film is a spoof of B-movies. The story involves tomatoes coming to life by unknown means and revolting against humanity. the title comes from a scene in the movie where a agent is sent out to infiltrate the tomatoes, eventually blowing his cover when he asks if anyone could "pass the ketchup." this movie was so bad that it was good!

Nice puzzle. Very enjoyable (and solvable) Thank you!

Hmmmmm...so this is what a "killer tomato" looks like...must be a "Beefsteak", or at least a "Big Boy"! (as a gardener, I couldn't resist this comment lol)

While I'm not too young, I still don't remember the movie. But the image was great fun to complete. I like the detail and the pattern of the green especially. Thank you for making such a terrific puzzle.

I figured it was a tomato pretty quickly, but I was very pleased to find it was of the "killer" variety! And you're reminding me that I didn't get my planting done over Spring Break! :( JoDeen, I've planted both of those before, but I decided last year to try something smaller. (I was tired of them cracking all the time.) So, I planted some very nice Roma tomatoes.

I like the smaller puzzle, Naneki! But, I understand you have a large fan-base to please and will likely publish some huge puzzles again soon! ;)

I saw the movie once, as a child (I was 3 when it came out, but probably 6 or 7 when I saw it). I remember part of the theme song, and that's about it.

I remember hearing of this movie and how I was apparently too young to watch/enjoy it. The theme song is memorable.

The way the tomatoes themselves are killed, I actually picked up on, but it was still funny when it happened.

There's a spot for bad movies if we don't watch them too often. Attack of the Killer Tomatoes filled that spot for me.

George Clooney had a bit of screen time in it too.
