Cute snail variant! It was still quite a simple solve, but different enough to keep it interesting. :)

I really like it. When my kids were young we would have snail races in the back yard. The winning snail's "owner" would get to pick the next activity. It was a catch and release activity. Although the different colors of chalk on the shells probably made them easy targets for predators. Circle of life.

I've never seen a snail in my area. Only slugs. They are the less interesting version, I think.

Sloth s l o w l y walks into a police station all bloody and beaten, and the desk sergeant says "Oh, man, what happened?" Sloth says, "I just got mugged by a bunch of snails."
"Snails, eh? What'd they look like?"
"I don't know. It all happened so fast!"

Guy opens his front door to grab the Sunday paper, and sees a snail on the porch. He picks it up and chucks it into the yard.
Next Sunday, there's the snail on the porch again, who says "Hey, whad'ja do that for?"

What does a snail say when he rides on the back of a turtle?
