Nice. :) Is that Ogden Nash, or just an old joke?#5: besmirched tea (besmirched tea) on Jul 30, 2014
After I solved the green, I thought of the Shel Silverstein poem: If you're a bird, be an Early Bird, but if you're a worm, sleep late.
Good one. Reminds me of the oldie "What's worse than finding a worm in your apple? Finding half a worm!"#6: Ron Jacobson (shmily999) on Jul 30, 2014
Kristen, I only know this as an old joke. Found it on the website punoftheday.com.#7: valerie o..travis (bigblue) on Jul 30, 2014

Kristen, my favorite poet is Ogden Nash.#9: Bruce Yanoshek (yanogator) on Jul 31, 2014
"The Lord in his wisdom made the fruit fly
And then forgot to tell us why."
I don't know what's going on, but the red squares are showing up as black, so my eyes and brain can't handle it. I had to quit.#10: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jul 31, 2014
I had that happen on a couple of puzzles the other day. It's helped me to clear my internet cache.#11: Susan Duncan (medic25733) on Aug 3, 2014
Good one Ron#12: Joel Lynn (furface1) on Aug 11, 2014
Didn't get it from just the picture. With the automatic save at the end not working right, I went back to the puzzle list to view the solution to this one, saw the description, and then it made some sense.
