Puzzle Description:

They say the Sun is getting closer to the Earth every year. By 2050 instead of listening to The Beatles thru a ghetto blaster on your shoulder, you'll be listening to them thru the unit that your now carrying on your shoulder that is a combination portable air unit with digital music server with holographic video, all connected to your self propelled walking suit and all powered by solar panels and regenerative energy from the friction generated from your thighs rubbing together.

Fun puzzle and a reason to appreciate that I'm old, probably won't have to learn to operate such a system since I'll be compost by then. (Also unlikely to again see the day my thighs rubbing together generates much energy, LOL).

Aldege, you have such a fascinating stream of stories, and a unique spiraling drawing style that really draws the viewer in. I keep thinking you could syndicate these!

Not to get all technical on you, but the Earth is getting closer to the Sun as it's orbit around it very slowly decays.

ROFL ! ! Energy generated from thigh friction. Classic! Hahahaha.

Not to out pedant you, but the Earth and the Sun are getting closer together. They orbit around a common center (their barycenter). If it were just the the Sun and the Earth, the common center would be actually inside the Sun, but it would not be the center of the Sun.

However there is a lot more mass in our solar system. All of that mass is involved in creating the barycenter. And since that mass keeps moving around, the barycenter is also always moving.

The Sun is so massive, though, that the barycenter is always near the Sun even when it is not inside the Sun.

Here's a couple of links about the barycenter:
