Puzzle Description:

... on a hot day than running through the sprinkler!

I thought the hose was broken ;-)

I thought the hose was dropped :)

I grew up in a small town with an elevation of 3500 ft. Our water came from deep wells and was ice cold. We didn't last long running through the sprinkler.

Cute one, although whenever possible I prefer jumping in a lake.... :D
#5: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jul 29, 2014
So you do this of your own free will Heather? It doesn't take someone to say to you " Oh go jump in a lake".:)

Our well water is ice cold too Norma. To fill the kids pool I have to hook up to the kitchen faucet and use lukewarm water.:)

LOL Aldege - I have been told to go jump in the lake, but it's usually the kids saying "Will you jump in the lake with us?" Of course with the summer we've been having (or rather not having) here in Ontario, the lake hasn't been that appealing. :(

good one ron :)

I haven't been in the lake yet this summer which is very unusual but like Heather says here in Ontario there is not appeal this year. Good puzzle

Why what's going on in Ontario?,too cool, too much rain. We've had a pretty good summer so far here in New Brunswick. A few really hot days but mostly just nice weather. It does get cool at night though. Perfect for sleeping.:)

Aldege - Let's just say that even I pulled on a pair of socks on Monday!! We've had maybe 1 day where it hit 30 C (86 F) all summer. :( On the plus side, we haven't had any smog alerts! :D

It's hard to know how to dress in the morning when it is 8 or 9 degrees when you know it will be 24 by noon :)

To finish the blue:
(there's at least a couple of steps of LL between each of these)
ELR1
ELR6
R4C16: Regardless of whether this square is blue or white, R4C17 is blue.
R4: If R4C18 is blue, it causes a contradiction in C16.
R13: No matter where the remaining 2 clue is placed, R12C17-18 are blue.
C16: Placing the remaining blue in R8 causes a contradiction in C18.
LL solves the remaining blue.

To finish the green:
EL R17, LL solves the rest.

For some reason, this reminds me of the South Park episode when Professor Chaos threatened to flood the world
