I'm gonna re-post this comment on a fresh puzz for anyone to have a go at....(otherwise, they prob won't see it)

met my bro for trivia Mon night...that's where I was off to. seemed like half the Q's were music related. One was about a song title, another was "what Canadian band had hits such as These Eyes and No Sugar Tonight?" (to which I laughed again at perlwolf's earlier comments on Al's puzz) and the halftime Q was a 4-parter that gave lyrics and you had to name the song title....got em all, ofc, but here they are if you want a go at em.

1"let me hear your body talk"
2"as I put another notch in my lipstick case"
3"you see it all around you, good lovin gone bad"
4"like a drifter I was born to walk alone"

and the last time we played, the halftime Q was a 4-parter...they give you a word and you have to name the song. got all those too, but here it is....

1 pompetus
2 scaramoosh
3 coletus
4 globin

1) Joker
2) Bohemian Rhapsody (scaramouche)
don't know 3 or 4

I answered the former on the other thread

Warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air...
#4: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Jun 25, 2014
I had 1 and 3 right away...took me a sec for 2. globin took almost the whole time alotted til I came up with it. they give you the time it takes for a song to play for your answers. you have 2 songs for halftime and the final.

here was our final Q, btw....multiple choice, which is kinda crap. "out of the following actors, who has appeared in the most academy award nominated films? we don't care about individual awards that the actor has won, just who appeared in the most nominated Best Picture films?" out of Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, and Morgan Freeman... got this one too, but it makes you think...

Probably help if I heard the word. That's what threw me on #3. My guess would be Pacino. However the other two have been in a lot of great movies.
#6: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Jun 25, 2014
believe it or not, Pacino's only been in 2. Godfather 1 and 2. I thought maybe scent of a woman also. De Niro only 2 also. Deerhunter and Godfather 2. I thought maybe Raging Bull or Taxi Driver also. winner's Freeman. Driving Miss Daisy, Million Dollar Baby and Unforgiven....only 3. but he was also in the march of the penguins, war of the worlds, Seven, Gone,Baby,Gone, Robin Hood, Amistad, Moll Flanders, Shawshank, and Invictus(to name a few). it had to be him

Before you gave me choices, I was going to guess Gene Hackman or Jon Voigt. Maybe Dustin Hoffman. The key is they were in it and it was nominated...
#8: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Jun 25, 2014
"they" gave you choices. you got the same Q I was asked
#9: Tom King (sgusa) on Jun 25, 2014
I get it. Thinking back, Spencer Tracy, Laurence Olivier, Humphrey Bogart. Maybe the list of Award Nominations was less back then. Jimmy Stewart, half the guys from 12 Angry Men...

wow....who'd have thought? some of the ones who were up there(over3), I've never heard of. in retrospect, I'm glad they gave a multiple choice with people I knew, and some of the really big names didn't have many. of your guesses, Hoffman had the most with 3

#15: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Jun 25, 2014
maybe I fudged the Q....musta been pictures that won.
#16: Tom King (sgusa) on Jun 25, 2014
It was probably, out of these three, which has appeared in the most oscar nominated films? Freeman has so many supporting roles, that it makes sense (like William Holden).

# 3 Hold On Loosely by .38 Special
# 4 Whitesnake

So what about this song?
#18: Tom King (sgusa) on Jun 26, 2014 [SPOILER]
If you can figure out any of the three parts of this, you should know the song. It is the lyrics.
