I really thought someone would get this and I can't imagine none of you have not heard these two songs or know this one band and this one artist.

First of all she's big,which brings up the song "Big Girl You are beautiful by Mika.

Secondly I tried to depict her wearing a nun's habit,which brings up "Bad Habits" by The Monks.

If you haven't heard them please check them out,they are both awesome.

Aldege, as many puzzles of yours that have made me grin, laugh, jump for joy etc...this is not one. I could go on, but I won't because there are no words for how badly let down by you I feel. My hero...dust. Sigh. This is bad, Aldege, bad.

I'm sorry you feel this way JoDeen,but perhaps you can explain what exactly it is you find so objectionable in this puzzle.You must be interpreting something that isn't meant to be. Hopefully we can clear this up and I can still be your hero. If not then I guess I'll have to find away to continue living with this cloud over my head.:(

Do you mean by me Kristen? The only thing I can think of that may possibly offend someone on this puzzle is the reference to big girls,but the song is Big Girl you are BEAUTIFUL. I myself have no objections to overweight women. I've been with many and have many good friends who are big. If it's because of a nun,that's what the album jacket shows,and it certainly is not meant as a slam against the Catholic religion. Therefor I am confused and if anyone can enlighten me as to what is offensive I will gladly delete the puzzle.

By the way did anyone check out the links and if so did you enjoy the music?:)

Oh honey, I am so sorry...it was indeed, sarcasm...it just didn't read well. Sometimes I forget y'all can't see me smile when I say something. I am not offended. While I was talking on the phone and making supper, I solved the puzzle, couldn't figure it out, went back read the comments, kept in mind the two you were trying to depict and went back and looked at the solution.

At this point I laughed (mostly at myself because I never would have picked up on either that the girl was large...or that she was wearing a nun's habit). The nun's habit was really off my radar because to me it looked as if the girl was wearing pig tails. I couldn't figure how you thought I would get either reference from the solution...which I thought was sad, bad whatever...sooo, I flippantly made those comments not giving it a second thought.

In person they would have been delivered with a smile, shaking my head rolling my eyes for effect...not to be given the slightest credence other than my exasperation at my own inability to even begin to understand where you were coming from with it.

I sincerely apologize for giving you a moment's pause. I LOVE your puzzles and am so glad to be part of this lovely community...I was dumbfounded when I realized my attempt at humor had fallen so flat. Going back and reading what I wrote I realize now I was not very funny. All I can plead is ignorance. I was on the phone, in a hurry to get supper ready and just wasn't paying close attention to exactly how those comments sounded.

You and the gang are all my heroes for creating such wonderful puzzles and sharing so much joy. I hope I am forgiven for my carelessness.

just now seeing this puzzle...but i don't think i would have gotten it. even if i had realized that her being large was part of the title or that the pigtails were a nun's headpiece (maybe a cross necklace would have helped), there are still way to many possibilities.

...come to mind among the hundreds of songs with large, big, heavy, etc. in the title or songs like the previously mentioned Brickhouse and Fat Bottom Girls.

similarly, you can also add in all of the nun-related words...to name a handful:

i say all of this just to show why people might have struggled to nail down the two songs you happened to be thinking of...among the hundreds of possibilities :)
