This was a hard puzzle for me...but completely solvable using the advanced puzzle solving techniques I found in FAQ. Thanks to your daughter for a great puzzle, even if I didn't find it until now!

What is the significance of "Vierra"?...

My daughter tells me that Vierra is the name of a bunny-like race in the game Final Fantasy (Tactics Advance). Glad you enjoyed the puzzle.

This was interesting to solve. I thought, It's a girl... with green hair... ok. Then the big black nose started coming together, and I thought, A dog-faced girl? But I totally see the bunny now!

Your daughter did a great job! Faces are very hard to make solvable. This was hard with the "smile" logic on the eyes, but definitely solvable.
#7: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Jun 4, 2008 [HINT]
Solvable by "guessing" on the eyes, based on what it should look like.

I loved it! I was hoping this was an original design and not a cartoon from somewhere. Kudos to your daughter.

I solved it through logic though. The 3's in the eyes could only be put where they are in order to get the next line down.

Word.

Great puzzle. I truly do not expect my first puzzle to be nearly as good.

No guessing on this one. What Adam called guessing on the eyes is actually termed "smile logic.' (Or in this case frown logic.) I was solving mostly from the bottom up so at first I thought the green "hair" was the head covering on a medieval maiden and the pointy ear was one of those cone shaped headdresses. It wasn't until I solved the floppy ear (still had the face to finish) that I thought, " This looks sort of rabbit like!"

Cute puzzle.
