you can el the 6 at the bottom, ofc....but you don't need it

after line logic runs out, take a look at the remaining 1 in c3...it has to be in either r2 or r3, making either c1r2 or c1r3 a black(but not both). since it can't be both and there is a "2" clue in c1, the black in c1 must be in r3 going down into r4. line logic finishes.

Nuts, I used deep edge logic on the 2 in c1 (vs c3) which rules out r2. Then LL to finish.

It's the same logic, but from the other side.

Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by infrapinklizzard.

dbouldin's b-day in a couple days, if memory serves....

think you can fit that many candles on a cupcake without calling the fire dept? ;)

how in the world did i miss this one?! it's been over 5 years and i'm just now getting my birthday well wishes. thank you whatever for the puzzle! you weren't early with the happy birthday since you were ON june 5th. and, if the fire department would've had trouble back then, they are in bigger trouble now!
