It seems no one of you could see what you see:#4: Linda Young (youngl) on Jun 4, 2014
He is Louis Braille at his 20 years of age, when he worked out his writing method for blinds.
Under the picture there is his name. For bilnds.
Yes I know cartoon characters and rock songs are more important and interesting. :(
That explains the dominos at the bottom. Sometimes the solution is right in front of your face!#5: Thomas Genuine (Genuine) on Jun 4, 2014
Linda, it's true.#6: Thomas Genuine (Genuine) on Jun 4, 2014
Seeing is useful but thinking is more interesting.
I wonder that lots of people don't think about what they see. (should those be dominos?)
:)
Once I've used yet Braille writing (puzzle #23670).#7: Jota (jota) on Jun 4, 2014

If he had looked more like Braille ...#8: Thomas Genuine (Genuine) on Jun 4, 2014
... at his old age, than can you recognize him? I think no. :)
Well-known portraits are from his old age (as an abbot), but when he invented this writing system, he was younger than 20 yo.
But purpose of this puzzle should be recognizing Braille system... :)
