With apologies that this is not the easiest solve.

it's not that it isn't an easy solve....unless I missed something, it just plain isn't solvable with logic. after exhausting all the el I could find and even iel in a couple places, I have exactly 8 black squares placed.

and then after using an educated guess as to the exact placement of the 7 at the top(cuz it's pretty easy to see where it goes), you get stuck again after 26 blacks placed(out of 112).

Thank you, Kurt. It would be awesome to sit next to you and watch your thought/solving process - I think I could learn a lot that way!

check out puzzle 6542...one of Gator's with the same subject matter, only 15x and pretty tough to solve considering its size...

where's Adam when you need him? lol ;) I actually remembered that puzz in particular though
