Puzzle Description:

LLS

#1: Heather M (AuntieH) on May 20, 2014 [SPOILER]

Looks like a lawn mower, so it must be a teen-aged boy (my nephew was getting instruction this job over the weekend) :D
#2: Tom King (sgusa) on May 20, 2014 [SPOILER]
Good guess, Heather. It is actually the job of one of our esteemed puzzle creators.
#3: besmirched tea (besmirched tea) on May 20, 2014 [SPOILER]
Is that a floor buffer?
#4: Linda Young (youngl) on May 21, 2014 [SPOILER]
Cherry picker?
#5: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on May 21, 2014 [SPOILER]
does look like a lawn mower. let me guess....golf course superintendent. you think I could get my nothing in a to-go box? nice puzz, Tom :)

very rarely do I ever find my way to a mower. only when we're scrambling to get caught up, such as after a few days lost to rain.

#6: Norma Dee (norm0908) on May 21, 2014
Gotta be it
#7: Tom King (sgusa) on May 21, 2014
Kurt got it!
#8: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on May 22, 2014
This isn't Kurt's job. Kurt is the brains behind the operation. He delegates,he inspires his troops to do great work, then he takes the credit but acknowledges he couldn't of done it without his team of professionals. The fact that you get on the end of a lawnmower in a pinch is admirable Kurt.I think you deserve an ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AWARD and an FBA.:)

Very good puzzle Tom
#10: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Aug 3, 2014
There are plenty of folks who mow and edge lawns for a living. I see them daily in my neighborhood.
#11: Shrek4fun (Shrek4fun) on May 10, 2022
Thanks Tom
#12: Valerie Mates (valerie) on May 11, 2022
I am curious what an FBA is. A web search says, "Functional Behavioral Analysis" for a kid in special ed, or "Fulfillment by Amazon." But I'm guessing it's neither of those.
#13: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on May 11, 2022
The FBA is a prize that aldege made up for his puzzles - the Frozen Boot Award.
He explained it here for Donna:

Thanks Joe!

(Hey, I didn't know that webpbn links could go to a particular response in a discussion. Cool!)
