Looks like a hard hat, so construction?

I am seeing either a tape measure for construction or a baseball in between the pitchers fingers during the windup. I will be interested to see the outcome! Thank you for a fun puzzle!

guess it does kinda look like a cross....you'd think making a hard hat(with a light too) would be easy, but not so much
