Puzzle Description:

My first puzzle. If you live in, or grew up in the Heartland then you knew the answer before solving the puzzle (corn).

And now I'll be hearing..."and the corn is as high as an elephant's eye..."

I hope we'll be seeing more puzzles from you.

When my brother and I were 4 and 6 years old respectively, our new baby sister wouldn't settle down to sleep at night unless one of my my parents ran the vacuum cleaner or played records for an hour or so. These were vinyl, on one if the latest "stereo hi-fi's," it was 1956. They owned a number of "33 rpm lp" recordings of the songs from musicals, which they used for this purpose a lot. Both my brother and I still know all those Rogers and Hammerstein lyrics by heart, since we were supposed to be sleeping too but in fact were joyfully singing along to the recordings instead. Great first puzzle, hope you find time and inspiration for many more!
