Thankfully we don't have to chop much firewood. Woodsplitter takes care of that. Great puzzle Travis!
#12: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Feb 8, 2014
Nice story to tell you all,now that Susan mentioned the wood splitter.I don't have a splitter, let alone a good man sized axe.(no smart comments about the size of my axe,Tom,Kurt, and Travis),so I bought 3 cords of firewood from a guy that was recommended to me by my kids school bus driver. When he delivered the split wood,I asked him how much he would charge me to split the stumps of wood that were left here from the previous owner of the house(about 2 cords worth). He said"not much".The next day I came home from being out shopping and he was just finishing splitting all that wood.He had brought his splitter to my place with his truck and trailer and spent the afternoon splitting it.I thanked him and asked how much I owed him.He said"nothing,I wanted to give you a deal on the firewood anyway".What a great guy.:)
