What I was talking about are those puzzles (you can find them in books of "Variety Puzzles" or "Pencil Puzzles and Word Games"), and the drawing is divided into a grid and rearranged, and it gives you a blank grid, so you can copy A1 and C4 and so on, into the proper squares.
