Hi i discovered the similar 'path pix' or 'link-a-pix' puzzles on a website called 'conceptispuzzles.com' but unfortunately you have to pay for more puzzles so I was wondering if anyone knows of another website like this one where users can create and solve path pix for free??#2: Jan Wolter (jan) on Aug 17, 2010
I've thought, a little, about how to do those on the web, and was stopped by the fact that I don't really know how to design them. With PBN puzzles, you draw a picture, and it's obvious how to generate the clues from that. With these 'link-a-pix' things, it's less obvious. I'd have to do some hard thinking to figure out how to have the computer generate clues for a link-a-pix puzzles.#3: Sally O'Connell (SallyOC) on Sep 13, 2010
If it can't be done in a fully automatic way, and has to be done manually or semi-manually, then that makes it hard to do this kind of website for, where puzzles are created by the community instead of by a small cadre of expert designers.
Thanks! Do you know of any websites that supply these puzzles or other picture logic puzzles for free? i use 'conceptis puzzles' but you only get 1 a week free which is annoying.#4: Robert Kummerfeldt (rmkummerfeldt) on Oct 12, 2010
I found an app called PathPix for my iPhone - there are a couple free version (or at least they were for a limited time), and there's a Pro version for a few dollars that has 300 puzzles. The interface works pretty good on a small phone screen. Of course, this doesn't help you if you don't have an iPhone.
