Here's how i solved it (hope it fits the "moderate lookahead" definition):

First I used edge logic on 4 in R15, 3 in R14 and 3 in C14. After some line logic I marked C11R15 blank with edge logic again. More line logic.

Then I looked at R10. The blot there can't be a '1', as it has to connect to C11R10. Knowing that, I used more edge logic on C14.

Next I looked at the '2' in C13. Wherever we place it, the rest of the column is blank, and in most cases we won't be able to place the '3' in C14. Using that, we can find out that the '2' can only be in R4&5 or R7&8. Other rows in C13 will be blank.

Same thing with the 2nd column. If we mark C2R10 black, no matter where the '2' goes, we won't be able to place the '2' in C1. C2R10 must be blank. Using edge logic we can find that C1R11 is blank. This makes C2R11 blank too. More line logic.

Next move may be a bit harder to handle. Let's try to put the '2' in C1 in R12&13. This would make R3-9 in C1&2 go blank, and the '5' in C4 would be in R7-11. And if we try to put threes in R7&8 in place, there would be a '4' in C5, but we don't have it there, so R12&13 in C1&2 must be blank. Then we mark C3R13 blank (line logic).

Moving on to R12. I tried putting a '3' in C5-7, C6-8 and C7-9. In first case I got a '4' in R12, which can't be true. In second case I had C12R5 blank and C12R4 black, which can't be true either. In 3rd case we get C8R10 blank and C7R10 black, which breaks R10. Out of all that we can say that C7R12 is blank.

The rest can be solved with line logic.

killer rabbits ahead.:)

it is moderate....didn't need anything fancy though. lots of el (bottom left esp), and a couple of instances of 2-way. el the far right giving dots at the bottom for the 3 in c14 puts it in one of 2 places, allowing to dot most of c13 as well(as where-ever it goes takes up the 2 in c13 as well)...

other 2-way I used was bottom right. you should have 4 pixels left to place the 2 in r14. either to the left, right, or middle triggers either a 3 or 5 in the c's, allowing for dots in the middle of r13

You're going to give me gray hairs here. Way too many tricky clues in this one, but the moderate lookahead can be confirmed using the help above. However, I think the final key (R12 placing the 3) is either deep lookahead or guessing. One step in C1 is not even needed.

waz wrong wiff gray hair?

wish i had tracked that solve. feels like i did deep lookahead, but not willing to resolve right now to confirm :P

How you doing, D? it's been a bit....Dennis, is memory serves. nd just before or after me. same year, 1975. I'm July

Found to be solvable with deep lookahead by valerie.
#20: Valerie Mates (valerie) on Sep 3, 2022
I'm not absolutely positively sure that was deep lookahead, but it felt like it. If someone wants to change it to moderate lookahead, that is fine with me.
#21: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Sep 7, 2022
kristen might take exception being lumped in with the likes of us kurt XD
#22: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Sep 10, 2022
Yes, 2/75. And I'm happy to be lumped in with you talented weirdos. ^_^
