If there are multiple solutions, why are there not multiple intended solutions? Fortunately, I hit upon the "right" solution on my second try, and did not have to cycle through all 5! possible solutions.#2: Web Paint-By-Number Robot (webpbn) on Dec 26, 2013
Found to require lots of guessing by infrapinklizzard.#3: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Dec 26, 2013
I got it on my first guess, but at less than 3/4 of one percent of randomly guessing it, I'd say this is lots of guessing.#4: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Feb 1, 2014

Yes, there are 5! (five factorial) possible arrangements. And I made a misstatement. It is actually slightly MORE than 3/4 of one percent - 0.008333 - to get the right answer randomly.#6: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Feb 2, 2014
ah...missed that exclamation mark the first time :)#7: Megan Kennedy (MCGal) on Feb 13, 2018
How is this a lot of guessing? Especially with the title?#8: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Feb 13, 2018 [SPOILER]
