aldege, did that nurse really say those things to you..omg..let the puzzles begin :)

Oh Aldege, you have got to be kidding. She (or he) really said those things?? If it is the case, I hope you reported them. That is ridiculous. Whatever happened to compassionate care and human decency?

We have been waiting for the story to begin. What a great start! Age is just a number - don't sweat it

Knowing Aldege's sense of humor, this is probably a little fiction thrown in with the truth. Absolutely great puzzle!! You can see the rather hopelessness on everybody's faces.
I had to come back to it because I was about 2/3 finished and decided to execute the check button, which said I had an error. So I saved and checked the box which said it would take it back to the first mistake. Apparently I had misplaced a pixel early on as it wiped out all but about 1/4 of the work. I thought not a problem because I was careful to save first, so imagine my surprise when I restored and only got back what was left after I did the check. All that work.........
So be warned if you decide to check your work you may lose more than you bargained for.

Again Kim,I'm just having some fun,like Norma suspected,however not all of the nurses were compassionate. Of course I didn't bring a tent but we did some change of clothing and snacks and things to keep the kids amused. All the kids wanted to see their sister arrive which in Ontario was not an issue,but in New Brunswick the policy is no more than 2 people at a time,yet they insist that an adult be with the children at all times,which means I wouldn't be able to see Chastydy arrive. We have no family here,so we couldn't leave the kids with anyone. A few nurses gave us nasty looks,but most of the staff were understanding and nice. Finally the doctor relented and allowed us all to watch.:)

You know me so well Norma. Sorry to hear about your saving problem. It wouldn't be a problem if my puzzles were easy,but their usually on the difficult side. Glad you enjoyed it though.:)

Thx auntie Norma. Isn't she just the cutest little thing. We just got her back home today after 6 days for jaundice. She's having a little trouble breast feeding,but were supplementing with formula and hopefully she'll be back to her birth weight soon.:)

With your and Niki's loveing care, I'm sure she'll be fine.

HILARIOUS! I love the story and the picture is priceless. I love how you drew the nurse. And all of the your family - LOL! Reminds me a little of a children's book: "The Relatives Came". Love this puzzle.

Thx auntie Linda. I'll check that link out later. Niki and I are exhausted. She's breast feeding every 2 hrs,then topping up with formula and milk that she pumped,then going back on the pump to entice the breast to produce more. I offered to do the enticing part but she said no because that way the baby won't get any milk,lol.:)

Thx for the lovely bouquet auntie Lollipop.We most certainly are thrilled to have her home. Destyny has been wonderful with her little sister,and I and Niki have been heaping praise and extra love to her. I don't forsee any jealousy issues with her.:)

Thx uncle Sensei,you know me I like having some fun with you guys. I understand they were just trying to do their jobs and that hospital policies are there for a reason,however I couldn't believe that they expected me to miss Chastydy's arrival. They just weren't thinking straight. It took Niki to scream at them during labour" I WANT MY HUSBAND",lol.:)

super nice story and puzzle. and brain doctor in your town is so friendly in Spain would have been very difficult to find someone as complacent.
