Puzzle Description:

Left: Yesterday's view from my hammock (looking up) at a bright blue sky 73 degrees. Right: Today's view out the window, gray sky 33 degrees (25 with wind chill). The tree on the left is an autumn purple ash which turns purple from top to bottom. On the right a Ponderosa Pine with the empty hammock between them.

On my first visit to CO I was given what I understand is the standard greeting of "if you don't like the weather just wait a little while and it will change."

On my first trip to Colorado we visited Cripple Creek which has an elevation of 9,494 ft. We were there on July the 10, my partner went to the casino for a few hours while i went to a show and when we came out it was to find 7 inches of snow. I still have pictures of me in my sundress, him in his shorts and sandals, standing up to our ankles in snow. 4 hours later it had all melted and we went swimming. I love how you presented the contrast in your puzzle.
