Very beautiful. Here in central AZ all we get in the way of leaves turning is a sort of nondescript yellow on a few trees.

Thank you. I have never been anywhere in the Autumn except for New England and Florida. I have heard that New England has the prettiest colors, but you can't go by me on that. lol

Wonderful image Ellen,why is this not a WCP puzzle? The colour full leaves here in New Brunswick are breathtaking. When you drive down the Trans Canada Highway and see the colours of the trees on the mountains,you have too be careful not to drive off the side of the road.:)

Ellen,if you look at the left side column and go to honors and left click on it,you will get an explanation of the WCP(weekly challenge puzzle) competition. Your puzzle fits right in with this challenge,simply add WCP#140 to your title and your in it.:)

Your welcome Ellen,I'm so glad you made this a WCP. The more people that join in,the more fun this becomes. You can enter as many as your creative mind can come up with. One of the fun things about this Ellen is that when you win some points and start moving up the rankings,you start catching up to others. It becomes a friendly competition,because as much as you want to catch up to the higher ranked creators,your happy for them when they win,and we all congratulate each other after winning. As much as I want to overtake Kristen,I'm happy for her when she wins,and I'm also happy for Kurt even though that young pup is on the verge of overtaking me. I'm sure they're happy for me as well. Have fun Ellen,and again I'm glad you joined in.:)

yep, all in good fun! The more the merrier! I make puzzles cuz people appreciate em, but the themes give you ideas that you might not have thought of when you're all idea'd out. I'm happy for everyone when they do well! It's great to see/solve the entries, and the competition makes it more fun. I root for the puzzles and like seeing all the different takes on a particular topic. As for catching up in point totals, I'm just happy to catch a few totals from people who got lost and haven't made a puzzle in forever.... but now that you mention it, you holding on to your short and curlies, Al? ;)

This is just a breathtaking puzzle. I had a ball solving it. At first I couldn't figure out why some of the windows had colored panes. Then the roof line started to come into view and and, voila!, a quaint, little Church. Stunning. I am quite blind, and so the colors have a dithering effect, which is actually a good thing. The red and green windows have a yellowish glow, the door reads as orange, fuschia and violet, and I can't even begin to describe the tree - really a beautifully designed puzzle.
