Yes, a very nice small puzzle. I guess in some homes these were rarely used.

fantastic image - I love the parlor chairs and the plant stand. it really does capture that formal parlor look.

The parlor was also where dead family members were laid out for viewing. So it had a feeling of somber formality. That's why the editor of Better Homes and Gardens magazine decreed that they would no longer refer to parlors. They would be called living rooms because they are for the living.
