I like this one better. :)#2: annalivia (annalivia) on Sep 11, 2013 [SPOILER]
It reminds me of The Sword in the Stone: Sir Kay shoots an arrow into the dark woods, and The Wart (Arthur) has to go in to retrieve it.
my evil twin did the previous one. :-0#3: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Sep 11, 2013
I like this one better, too. But the other one was funnier.:)#4: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Sep 11, 2013
I liked the other one better#5: Linda Young (youngl) on Sep 12, 2013
My vote goes to the other one.#6: annalivia (annalivia) on Sep 13, 2013
the vote is tied! :-)#7: Synthia McBride (synthia) on Sep 14, 2013
Okay, I'll break the tie. The other one wins. It's funnier and involves a pun. Puns win every time.#8: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Sep 15, 2013
very nice tree!#9: annalivia (annalivia) on Sep 15, 2013 [SPOILER]
thanks!
the quote in puzzle 22741 comes from the poem "The Arrow and the Song" by Longfellow. The ninth and tenth lines are "Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke". therefore the tree.
I couldn't resist doing the first puzzle. :-)
