It's a very interesting paradox-analogy against the math logic.
In math:
If A<B and B<C then A<C is true.

In case of these rings:
Red is above to blue, blue is above to black, BUT black is above to red! :)

I probably should have put the black ring one pixel higher. It looks a bit squished.
