Are they using bowling figures and cannon ball? Or using cannon in the bowling? :)
(I don't offer to see every type of cartoons for my daughter)

Is it accidently (or a joke?) Aldege wrote canon, but I see a cannon on the picture? Is there difference in USA, Canada and Britain?

After I ran out of color logic, there were six green pixels on the left and eleven on the right to be placed. Also thirteen red pixels on the left and eleven on the right to be placed. And a bunch-o-black.

Deep edge logic on the black 1 in r12 (between the blue 2s) vs r14 makes c15 and c16 white. (LL)

Then some edge logic on the black 3 in r14. Its current range is c7-12. Using edge logic while minding your colors will locate it in c10-12. Then some line logic.

Extended edge logic on the 5 in r30 - if it were in c4-8 then there'd be no room for the two 2s in r29. So the 5 cannot start in c4 and thus c9 must be black. Then LL finishes the black.

Then we do some three-way logic on the red 2 in c3. (It's just like two-way logic, but with one more possible position.) The 2 can only be in r11-12, r12-13, or r13-14. In each of those positions, it will force c4r12 to be red. Then LL finishes the left side.

More three-way logic on the green 2 in r7. No matter where it goes, it forces r8c27 to be green.

Then three-way logic on the green 2 in c30. No matter where it goes (keeping color in mind), it forces c29r10 to be green. Color logic finishes off the green.

And now we're left with a classic staircase/zigzag. And no good way to break it down into tiny moderate-lookahead steps.

A holistic approach can go like this: there are only two ways to fill a bunch of crossing 2s. One is a zigzag, and the other is a bunch of 2x2 blocks. (See my tutorial for puzzle 163 http://infrapinklizzard.deviantart.com/art/Logic-163-155347359 for the details on this.)

If all the crossing 2s were to be in blocks of 2x2, then the two 1 clues must cross each other in a 1x1 block. They cannot cross each other (that pixel is already marked white), so there must be a zigzag.

1s cannot continue a zigzag, so they must be at the ends of the zigzag.

So using vertical clues we know that the zigzag must begin in c30 and go to c25. And the horizontal clues tell us that the zigzag must begin in r10 and go to r15.

That gives us two sets of co-ordinates for the ends of the zigzag:
c25r15-c30r10, which makes no sense
and c25r10-c30r15 - so these two pixels are red & LL to finish.

This is on the edge between moderate and deep lookahead. Two-way is acknowledged as moderate, but is adding the one extra position enough to tip it into deep lookahead? Placing the zigzag by supposition and contradiction would definitely be deep (if easy) lookahead, but is using a many-step, but no branching chain of logic?

What do you think?

Thx auntie Kristen,do you remember how Mrs.Tickle gets to the Big Top if her husband is sick and she has to do the clown duties for him?,if you don't remember I'll try to make a puzzle of it to remind you, lol.:)

Kristen could you make out his clown shoes and understand what is going on? I don't think Thomas can and I don't know if it's because Thomas isn't familiar with the show or because my depiction is not so clear.:)

Yes Thomas my misspelling of the word cannon is accidental. I find it hilarious that Kristen didn't tell me. She did it in a subtle way by spelling it properly herself, knowing or hoping that I would catch on,lol. :)

Thomas,I'm retired on a disability pension so I have a lot of time to watch these shows with my daughter. There are so many wonderful shows on for kids these days that it's nearly impossible to watch them all,but if you get a chance to watch some of the ones I make puzzles about or that I mention in comments,I'm sure you and your daughter would enjoy them. Most of these shows are designed to appeal to the parents as well as the children. I love the imaginations of the creators of these shows. They come up with the coolest things,be it furniture, appliances, clothing or whatever, and these shows are all good shows that promote good behaviour and manners, things that will help our children be respected citizens. Not like the crap you see on some kids shows.:)

LOL uncle Joe,I just put the balls there to fill a void in the bottom right corner hoping to add to the puzzle.:)

That was all because Jojo forgot to pull the hand brake to stop Whoopsabell from making cotton candy. That was a fun episode Kristen.:)
