I was able to solve the bulk of this puzzle with logic. I had to guess only on the single black squares that encircle the cross. I believe you Arduinna that this must have multiple solutions. The puzzle in the printing file has multiple solutions. I assume it was the first version, not the second one displayed in the site page.
