Puzzle Description:

Chrysler developed the Airflow design which was way ahead of it's time. Not too many liked the looks and it only ran for a few years. This one is a 1934 Desoto Airflow owned by a wealthy cattle and horse rancher.

Wow--at first I thought it looked like a Volkswagen Beetle! Most of my difficulty was because my eyes aren't that great any more (age) so I had to make it bigger which then caused a lot of scrolling. I judged the difficulty on what I assumed it would be if I could have seen it all at once.

WOW
I thought til almost the end it will be the VW Beetle.

Nice! I thought a Beetle too. Not hard to solve but time consuming!

Thx Linda,Thomas, and Janet. It does look like a VW beetle in my puzzle, but not in real life. I couldn't get it to look exactly right unless I went bigger, and it is already too big, lol. Could you make out the back end of the horse with his head looking to the left? :)

That's the year my dad was born. :)
I don't imagine too many people bought American cars this year, since it was in the middle of the Great Depression.

Your right Kristen it was not a booming year for cars. Then the government put a limit on how much chrome the manufacturers could use,so they had to paint bumpers the same as the body colour.:)
