Lots of edge logic!

After purple logic (anything the purple hint arrow can point out) and some simple EL gets you so far, it's easy to miss two spots of LL. The first one I noticed doesn't get you anywhere, but it's another spot filled in. The second advances you a little further.

Careful LL in Row 22 will reveal that R22C12 must be part of one of the two 2 clues. It cannot be the 1 or part of the 3. Therefore, you can mark it black and mark R22C11 as a dot/blank.

The other - and more helpful - tricky LL spot was R7C20. That pixel is either part of the 2 or the last 3, so it must be black. You can do more LL from there until you reach another tricky spot.

In Row 4, careful LL should reveal Columns 17 and 18 as dots/blanks because the 3 clue is the only thing that can go there and there is not enough room for it. More purple logic finished the entire top half of the image.

At this moment in time, I am not done solving, but so far, I would definitely say I never needed deep lookahead. I used moderate lookahead somewhere in the beginning to place the chunky edges, but it was never beyond simple EL. I will post more hints as I complete this puzzle.

So it's been half a year since I've tried this one. I finally got back to it. My skills are not advanced enough to call a verdict on this one regarding solvability. It may require deep lookahead; it may require guessing because it is just too difficult for any human mind to keep track of their moves inside their head. I can't say because it is most definitely too hard for me, but I gave it my best. I personally, have resorted to guessing and backtracking. I'm just gonna finish it that way. But I can say for sure that about 3/4 of it are totally solvable with light lookahead and line logic.

I agree, I think the top half is solveable with logic, but I was stuck on the lower half. I finally guessed that the ten pixels in the bottom row would be in the center to create a circle and was able to solve it easily then.
