Puzzle Description:

My first guess would be "Big River"...

...could also be "Showboat"...

bingo JD, but a 1 & 1?

Dock.

1 and 1? I gave you a 1 &1 rating? I don't do that. I've been having some problems with my old computer powering off...and also when I post comments (which did happen this morning)...but I hadn't done any rating at all at that point.

I'll try to rate this now...btw, in my book this is a 4 and a 3. I love the bird and the little fishing figure (might be either Tom or Huck, but I figured Tom since that's your name lol)! I had a fun time solving this, Tom. Thank you!

Alright, I did it...let me know if it registered. I always get this message "Error: Cannot Save: 0"...but I always rate the puzzles anyway.

Tom, the 1 and 1 idiot is back. Your puzzle is not the only one. It's happening to other puzzles, also.

I thought showboat as well, good job Tom.:)
#8: Linda Young (youngl) on Aug 19, 2013 [SPOILER]
My first thought was On the Waterfront, but there wasn't any "front"!
#9: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Aug 19, 2013

Well duh--forgot the puzzle title altogether!

I'm not the 1-1 guy. I don't think I comment enough for anyone to know me. I agree on the 4-3. But I question the seagull. Isn't Showboat and Big River about riverboats? I took the bird to be a seagull, which I think of as being by the ocean, not by a river.
#12: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Aug 21, 2013
thanks for comment Craig. I lived in Boca Raton, Fl and know a lot about seagulls. This bird was just a bird for me which helped make the solve more interesting.

There is a sizable seagull population in a town 25 miles SW from us. It has a tiny river and is 100 miles from the ocean as the crow flies, but more like 250 miles if you were to follow the river.

We live on a larger river (that the other flows into farther down) but have no seagulls. (We do have hawks, osprey and bald eagles, though. Have you ever heard bald eagles chattering? They sound like drunk, whiney seagulls. And they like to perch in front of our house whining in the early morning.)

Then about 25 miles NE of here there is another sizable population of seagulls, this time in a town with no river. However, they do have a landfill.
