Puzzle Description:

Can you guess what each symbol represents to describe a type of bad shot? Starting from top left to right and then bottom left to right. The bottom right is a ?,can you guess what it represents? It's not actually a poor shot but more of a result from a bad shot.

Hook, slice, hole-in-one, where'd it go?
#2: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Aug 6, 2013 [SPOILER]
Rofl Norma, you got the first one right, hole in one would not be a poor shot lol,and your last guess just breaks me up,but that's not the one I had in mind. If more people have some funny guesses this might end up being fun. Thx for participating Norma.:)
#3: Kristen Vognild (Kristen) on Aug 6, 2013 [SPOILER]
Mulligan?
#4: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Aug 6, 2013
YW Aldege. A hole in one can be bad if you are playing match play and your opponent is the one who holes it out. :)
#5: Ellen Vollor (evollor) on Aug 6, 2013
Hook, shank, out of bounds (or in the water) and "Who did that ball hit?"
#6: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Aug 7, 2013 [SPOILER]
Kristen is right for the ?,it is a mulligan.:)

Your right Norma,I never thought of that.:)

Hook and shank are correct Ellen, and very funny answer for the ?,however the out of bounds was not what I was thinking. I'll let it go a little longer before I reveal the third one.:)

Thx girls for playing along.:)
#7: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Aug 7, 2013 [SPOILER]
can the boys play, or are we only the caddies?
#8: Kristen Vognild (Kristen) on Aug 7, 2013 [SPOILER]
The lower left looks like a skull. Maybe someone made a "bonehead" shot?
#9: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Aug 7, 2013
I think maybe Kristen's on the right track. Did some one skull their shot?
#10: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Aug 7, 2013 [SPOILER]
Sure the boys can play Tom,I'm a little surprised that more haven't tried to guess. Kudos to the girls though they guessed them all correctly. Norma your right it is a skulled shot. I'm impressed with your golf knowledge girls. Thx Kristen for recognizing the skull and the bonehead comment was very funny also.:)
#11: Linda Young (youngl) on Aug 7, 2013 [SPOILER]
I'm not a golfer and had to look up "skulled" shot!
#12: Kristen Vognild (Kristen) on Aug 7, 2013
My dad is an avid golf watcher (and player, to a lesser extent), so I picked up some knowledge. :)
#13: Jota (jota) on Aug 7, 2013
Thanks for another great entry! GO GIRLS!
#14: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Aug 8, 2013
Your welcome Jota, what happened to the men on this puzzle?:)
#15: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Aug 8, 2013
was out actually playing :)
#16: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Aug 8, 2013
Well that's o.k. then David, hope you had a good round.:)
#17: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Aug 8, 2013
it's always a good round when i lose fewer golf balls than i hit.
#18: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Aug 8, 2013
You've got a valid point there, Dave.
#19: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Aug 9, 2013
I'm guessing you lose a lot of balls cause you hit them so far David. :)
#20: Gary Webster (glwebste) on Aug 12, 2013 [SPOILER]
I get hook and skull (I do both a lot), but upper right looks more like a slice than a shank. I'm guessing (?) is the lost ball.
#21: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Aug 12, 2013 [SPOILER]
If I let loose then it will definitely go far and I will definitely never find it :)
I nearly always slice, even with a draw bias driver...unless I try to account for it and aim left...then it's straight as an arrow :P
#22: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Aug 12, 2013
No Gary it's just a poor representation on my part of a shank which is similar to a knife and Kristen and Norma already figured out the ? is a mulligan. Thx for playing along.:)
#23: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Aug 12, 2013
I use to be able to hit them far when I was younger David and I was usually dead straight, but my strength has always been my short game and my putting.:)
