Looks more like an older land line phone.

A very intriguing description because it's more like a walkie-talkie.

I think it is a Nokia, because Snake is played on it!

My in-laws had a cell-phone like this. It was the cheap one when flip-phones were the hottest thing. Something like this one:

If I say I remember rotary dial phones, will I be dating myself?
#7: Kristen Vognild (Kristen) on Jan 3, 2014
Nah, I was born in '75, and I remember our rotary phone.

How about when I used to tell the operator what number I wanted?

Operator, get me BR-549 (the number for Junior Samples from Hee Haw)

I don't know phones by year (I still currently use a $15 flip phone with prepurchased minutes - costs about $100 per year, which is 1/6 of what my wife pays annually not even counting the cost of her smartphone) but this image is from 2003, and the Matrix was 1999 and the phone antennae didn't stick up like a walkie talkie

To me it looks like a transistor radio. In the sixties the "trans" went with us everywhere, like the smart phone to kids now.
