Actually, creepers are loving creatures, who really just want to hug you. Unfortunately, they have no arms, so the frustration just makes them explode.

Unusually fun solve for a little puzzle.

Minecraft introduced creepers and now mods and games are full of them. Also, creepers don't make any sounds, not even footsteps, so they can sneak up behind you before they commit murder and suicide at the same time.
