ya know, I just glanced over David's suggestion without sounding it out...wasn't til Kristen wrote the lyrics that 2 and 2 got put together. oddly enough, I heard the song on the radio just the day before and thought to myself, "what a great song! wonder why I haven't heard it in so long?....that'd make a really good name for a baby girl!"
It's an excellent song! I'm glad I could inspire a great puzzle. :)#6: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Jul 20, 2013
indeed! thanks, K! :)#7: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Jul 21, 2013 [HINT]
no guessing on this one, folks!#8: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Jul 21, 2013
prob not all this is necessary, but you've got line logic....then use el to dot c43,r44-50
el on the 2 in c1 dots r36-42,48-50
el on the 3 in r29 dots c30-32 in that row or you violate the 2 in c30
el makes the black in c6r32 the 1 clue in r32(because it can't be the 3 clue), dotting r32,c's 1,3-5,7. after this, line logic has the complete outside finished for sure, and I think the rest of the puzzle. I also used el on the 5 in r12 to dot r12c20-25. I don't think this last one was needed to finish out, but I'll list it anyway
Wow! I'm speechless. Great puzzle.#9: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Jul 21, 2013
ty ty, Norma!#10: Jota (jota) on Jul 21, 2013
Awesome solve! Great puzzle.#11: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Jul 23, 2013 [HINT]
After line logic fills in the top, top left, and right sides,#12: Web Paint-By-Number Robot (webpbn) on Jul 23, 2013
Edge logic on the 5 in r12 makes c20-25 white.
Deep edge logic on the 5 in r12 vs r14 makes c10-12 white,
(LL)
Internal edge logic on the 3 in c10 (vs c11) makes r15-19w
(LL)
Edge logic on the 2 in c25 makes r16 white.
Then LL to finish.

With that chin, it looks a bit like John Travolta.#14: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Jul 23, 2013
I thought so too....and Chevy Chase as well! Oddly, Chevy appears in his video, "You can call me Al". Name the song!#15: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Jul 25, 2013 [SPOILER]

I actually do know how much the ? annoys -- see my puzzle 9316 "Ignore the Question Mark" ( http://webpbn.com/index.cgi?id=9316 or http://www.webpbn.com/index.cgi?id=9316 )#18: Velma Warren (Shiro) on Sep 26, 2018
Oh and I got rid of my shorthand gobbledygook in #11.
Very fun solve.#19: Michael Eddy (meddy) on Apr 29, 2021 [SPOILER]
There was a particularly tricky bit where IEL helped me place some dots right above the 14 in C7 - I don't remember if I used any other EL but that was the only really tough part for me. Great solve.#20: Vaggelis Kamaris (evag7651) on Mar 3, 2023
