Good (hard) puzzle.
Who is it? A bet he can be a poet from 18th or 19th century...

Wow, that was a challenge.

There is a whole lot of 2-step logic in this puzzle, enough that I lost track of all of it while I was trying to solve and don't have a clear enough memory of it for a proper solving guide.

Some key areas I do remember:

After LL, you can look at C10 and C34 and use those options to finish C11 and C33.

You can figure out where half of the upper 4 clue in C13 goes by looking at the possibilities for the 4 clue in C12.

You can follow this up by looking at the 9 clue in C15 and working out its upper limit based on how C12-14 would interact with it.

Next I looked at R1-2 and eliminated a few possible placements, which resulted in a dot in R2C21.

You can look at C10 and work out that C13R4 needs to be filled no matter how C10 is finished.

From here my memory gets fuzzy on what I did, but there was a lot of chipping away at the edges looking for contradictions, until I could narrow down some of the "single remaining clue" columns.

New version published by kristen.

Sorry, Wombat. I made some changes to the first 2 rows, and now it's LLS.

The rest of the image is intact.

Great solve. Glad I solved it after the changes.

Thanks!
If you look at version one, you can see how few pixels I changed. :)

So, that was a bit frustrating. I had a long list of instructions to post and then I got a "different version" notification.

Well, at least I can salvage one line of my hint:

LL to finish.

:)
Sorry, Joe. I had a pair of pixels early on that were integral to the solve, but they were made useless by a later revision, and I still used them as I was solving before I posted. I hadn't intended to include a bunch of crazy internal edge logic along the top.

LOL Joe

At least it sounds like you took better notes than I did. :)
