Is it a fantasy picture or a real model?
#2: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jul 17, 2013 [SPOILER]
"You built a time machine out of a DeLorean?!?"

Thomas, this is from the movie Back to the Future.

Great job, Joshua! For a minute, I thought I was solving one of Aldege's car puzzles. :)

Kristen, I'm sorry, I've seen appr. 0,1% of all american films (perhaps even less)
pls let me not explain it...
#4: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jul 17, 2013 [SPOILER]
Very well done Joshua, nothing I like better than a great car puzzle.:)
#5: Claudia (clau_bolson) on Jul 17, 2013
Great puzzle Joshua! It was such fun when I discovered what it was
#6: Jota (jota) on Jul 17, 2013
Difficult solve, I couldn't even tell how I did it! Thanks!
#7: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Jul 18, 2013
hmmmm Aldege has competition with cars now :)
#8: Wombat (wombatilim) on Jul 18, 2013 [HINT]
Needed some edge logic in R2 and later R15 to finish.

Nice work.
#9: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Jul 19, 2013 [HINT]
I agree with Wombat
el on the 13 in r2 can place it completely (after initial LL/CL)
(if it were anywhere but c28-40 it would cause at least one block of one in r1 or r3)

el on the 15 in r15 (after the green 2s in c20&42 are placed) makes c21-22 and c39-40 white.

Then LL & CL to finish.

Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by infrapinklizzard.

"The way I see it -- if you're gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?"
#12: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Jul 21, 2013
it makes for a quicker solve, but you don't need el in r2...line and color logic gets you almost home if one has the patience to look. you've got a 2 pixel lee-way left on the 15 in r15 that takes adv logic when color/line runs out, and that'd do it

great job, Joshua!

It's pretty.
#14: Vaggelis Kamaris (evag7651) on Feb 28, 2018
nice. solvable by logic alone.

Nice.
