This needs deep lookahead.#5: Web Paint-By-Number Robot (webpbn) on Jul 23, 2013
Here's as far as I can get with moderate lookahead:
Line logic only fills in r1. Then color logic allows you to finish the green. However, none of the black can be filled in.
Edge logic on the 4 in c20 makes r6-10 white.
After LL, edge logic on the 7 in r7 makes c1-5 and c14-18 white. Then LL. (Don't forget that r8c3 must be white due to line logic.)
Deep lookahead could be done now, but only a few more bits of moderate can be done:
Edge logic on the 2 in c13 makes r9-13 white.
Edge logic on the 4 in r8 makes c18 white.
Now we're stuck for moderate lookahead.
The least deep lookahead I found was:
The black pixel at c7r8 must be either part of the 2 or 4 clue in r8.
If it is part of the 4, then r8c1-2 and r8c4-8 must be black and:
= extending the vertical clues and dotting their ends, (r9 can fit in c1-2 and c4-5.)
= the dot in c5r10 (at the end of the 2 clue in c5) forces the black in c4 into c3 (due to the 2 clue in r9)
= then that pixel must be in the 3 in c3 and so must extend down into r11.
=Now the dots in c1-2 and c4 conflict with the 2 clue in r11
So c7r8 cannot be part of the 4 and must be part of the 2 in r8.
Then LL to finish.

Cute - great puzzle for beginners.#8: Aurelian Ginkgo (AurelianGinkgo) on Nov 10, 2017 [HINT]
I skipped all of that and guessed that the 7 clue in R7 was directly under the green in R6. The green in R6 spans 7 spaces, so I took that gamble and checked it. It just made sense, despite that it was a guess. Doe that sort of educated guess count as lookahead? Lol. (I know it doesn't.)
