Great job on the album cover Thomas and they were a great band, but I'm sorry I can't agree that they were the greatest ever or that this was the greatest double album ever. There were so many great bands throughout history that it's near impossible to give that distinction to any one band. I do think that the majority of people when asked would probably say that the Beatles were the greatest band ever, and it might be hard to argue with them. Let's not forget that the Beatles influenced a lot of the great bands that came after them.:)

Not the best Floyd album (although very good, as is the film) - I prefer Wish You Were Here, Meddle and, of course, Dark Side of The Moon.
There has to be better double albums too, Wee Tam & The Big Huge, for example.

Aldege, all my tribute to the Beatles, but they've never made original, all conceptual double LP.
I also like (perhaps better) other PF records (Dark Side, Wish You), like other double live LPs (Dire Straits: Alchemy, Queen: Live Killers), too ...
but among in all conceptual, original, double LPs this is the winner... (it's only an opinion)

oh, and Al....greatest band ever in my mind has no arguement. I like a lot of bands and there are many that I'd hold as "up there"...the Beatles, Floyd, Eagles, the Stones, Boston, Led Zeppelin...even Styx. But #1 for me is Def Leppard, hands down! 4 decades later, and they still produce hits. hardly anyone would agree with me on this one, but I'm sticking to it.

Well Kurt, you are entitled to your opinion, just like Thomas and I are. I was fortunate to have played music from all the bands you mentioned, plus probably thousands more, back when I played bass guitar in bands. I would be hard pressed to pick who I think is the greatest band because I have so many favourites. Lately I've been listening to some old favourites,Steppenwolf,The Verve,The Smiths,Killers,Supertramp. I could go on and on. I never get tired of listening to great music.:)

Thx Jane. Not was too difficult.

1. I had to looking for it in my old CD collection. (hard)
1/a. Opening the booklet at the correct side. (easy)
2. I counted the number of horizontal lines. This gave size of the puzzle. (easy)
3. Drawn all horizontal lines then vertical ones (I'm an architect, so didn't need to thinking about rates of a brick...) (easy)
4. Copied relatively the same letter types (hard)
5. Clicked "Check" button (5x, but easy) while repairing some squares for reason of exact solution (hard)
6. Finally clicked publishing and saving (easy)
7. Getting critical comments... (HARDEST)
