Haven't seen the movie. But at first all I could think of was that it was going to be a despicable sun. We reached 118 today.

WOW!

Line logic only gets you a short way.

Edge logic on the 13in r1 will make c1-5 and 22-30 white. A little LL can be done.

Then EL on the 5 in r2 makes c1-5 white. Then lotsa LL.

Now some wibbly-wobbly-smiley-wiley edge logic. If the 12 in r20 were to go all the way right, there would be no room for the 2 all the way up in r17. Therefore, r20c21-22 are white.

LL to finish.

Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by infrapinklizzard.

Joe - I solved the end a little differently (but with the same result) with the 2 clue in row 17. No matter where it goes, R18C21 is black. I loved the Dr. Who reference, btw. :)
