Wonderful image. For me, the one and only doctor.

My kids and I are now watching DW, but we started with the 9th doctor. Great puzzle!

Don't know the reference. The image is great. A good solve with no guessing, just a lot of patience.

Doctor Who. The puzzle is of the 4th doctor played by Tom Baker.

Yes, what Gator said. While Tom Baker was the fourth actor to play the Doctor, he was the first Doctor to most Americans, since his episodes were the first ones to be shown on PBS.

Kristen, pls try to spell better your grandma's surname. What you wrote, that's totally impossible... She could be Meggyesi, Medgyessy, perhaps Mátyási or something similar. :)

I honestly don't remember. She passed away last week, at age 87. It may have been Megyesy.

Tom Baker was my first too. I loved the way the daleks looked so much like salt and pepper shakers. I knitted a scarf, but it wasn't that long. Great puzzle. Thanks.

Fun and challenging puzzle, but totally unfamiliar with the Doctor Who character. The eyes were the last part of the puzzle I solved, and right up to that time the image was looking more and more like John Lodge of The Moody Blues--but he does not have crazy wide-eyes. I kept thinking--John Lodge, my first...what? Concert? Autograph?
