I can relate. We are getting excessive heat warnings and it's very depressing. I'm just not ready for it.

Sometimes is good to let the current take you wherever it goes.

Thx for the encouragement gang. Destyny does indeed help me forget about the nonsense going on,but after I put her to bed,my mind just starts reeling and all the worry begins to eat away at me. Everything that you are saying is true, yes I do have a boat, and a sail, and yes the current will take me somewhere, and perhaps that somewhere will end up being o.k. I am thankful for the things I do have and if it was just myself to think about I wouldn't worry, but I can't help worrying about doing enough for these kids. It's a lot harder these days than when I was a kid. Living on a meagre disability income for a family of 5 today is not easy.:(

I totally understand what you are going through, Aldege. Been there, done that for sure. Have had up to three jobless adults under my roof at one time due to all the layoffs. But they were all family and the love was, and is, strong. So focus on the love.

I will take your advice Norma and hope that my love for my daughter and the baby that's on the way will give me the strength to get thru these hard times. I sure wish I could see my other two kids and my best friend who is my nephew Rick. I'm afraid I may not see them again before I die.

I know quite a few people who have supplemented their incomes by quite a bit by buying and selling on the internet through eBay and craigslist. They study the sites and see what goes for how much and visit the garage sales picking up items very cheaply and selling them for more. It takes patience but I know someone who specialized in marbles and certain marbles sell for a fortune and often people who have them don't know this. Just for fun look up antique marbles on the internet and check out the prices.

Thx Norma,I'll check that out.:)
