Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by infrapinklizzard.

After nearly 6/7ths of it is done with line logic:

Smile logic on the 11 & 1s in r25 and 22 respectively.

And then it's a bit of a poser. I may be missing an easier way, but here's how I went forward:

The black pixel at c3r14 must be part of the 4 in c3. Let's do a not-so-traditional bit of two-way logic on it. Our two conditions are that it must either go above r14 or not.
-If it goes even one pixel above r14, then c4r13 is white and thus c14r16-17 is black
-If it does not go above c14 then c3r15-17 are black, making c4r16-17 black.

Either way, c4r16-17 are black. Then LL to finish
#7: Gator (gator) on Jun 13, 2013 [HINT]
How about now matter where the 3 clue in column 9 goes, R10C8 and R11C8 will be black. Line logic to finish.
#8: Andrew Schulz (LPguy) on Sep 9, 2021 [HINT]
Heh, after leaving this in my 'in progress' basket for years, I found a path to progression similar to what Gator proposed in #7:

For row 10, no matter where the '3' goes, C7R11 and C8R11 must be black. Then using his logic to proceed further, then easy logic to reach end.

I think this puzzle's difficulty rating is at least a point lower than it should be!
