Puzzle Description:

Isn't terminal velocity a beautiful thing?

#1: Dave Oas (khpdave) on May 12, 2013 [SPOILER]

It sure does come in handy (especially when skydiving).

I was really needing a relatively easy, two-color puzzle today - I owe you, Brian!
#2: Al LaPointe (kancamagus) on May 12, 2013 [SPOILER]
i see the liberty bell being dropped from a very high place... that explains the crack :-)
#3: Norma Dee (norm0908) on May 12, 2013
:) Al L
I didn't see it coming. Nice one, Brian.
#4: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on May 12, 2013 [SPOILER]
It's a real pain when the terminal is way on the other side of the airport.
#5: Norma Dee (norm0908) on May 12, 2013
That's when you need lots of velocity.
#6: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on May 12, 2013 [SPOILER]
Al, I think you are tilting your head the wrong way.
#7: Al LaPointe (kancamagus) on May 12, 2013 [SPOILER]
oh my! such a silly error... hey, now it's two puzzles in one!
#8: Norma Dee (norm0908) on May 12, 2013
Not so silly Al L. I can definitely see the liberty bell, too.
#9: Kristen Vognild (Kristen) on May 13, 2013
Remember, it's not the fall that kills you; it's the sudden deceleration at the end.
#10: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on May 13, 2013 [SPOILER]
upside down he's on his left ear ;/
#11: Bruce Yanoshek (yanogator) on May 13, 2013
In the liberty bell position, it could also be a square dancer (with her head and legs out of the frame) with her hands on her hips.

Wow! Bruce is right too.
#13: Dave Oas (khpdave) on May 13, 2013
This puzzle just keeps giving and giving!
#14: Joel Lynn (furface1) on May 22, 2013 [SPOILER]
Could be an Apollo space capsule that just splashed down.
#15: Tom King (sgusa) on May 23, 2013
Fun puzzle, Brian!

I thought saw a sextant at first. I turned the picture 90 degrees counterclockwise instead of 90 degrees clockwise, but I couldn't figure what the extraneous bits were for!

Of course, the image (as well as what the "extra stuff" is) is clear once you turn it the right way, but I enjoyed being able to potentially see two such images.
