The U.S. Space Shuttle program.

Well, this is my first puzzle. I figured if I'm going to lurk here for a while, I might as well contribute.

If someone has done something similar, I'm not sure how to check, but I apologize. Hopefully it is different enough.

This is a really great first puzzle. There have probably been others that are similar but please don't let that stop you from making more puzzles.

I agree with Norma completely. When Adam (monkeyboy) sees this, he'll list all of the other space shuttle puzzles ever done. (I don't know how he does it but he does)

ISammael, I don't know if you have followed many of the comments here in the Forum, but if Adam does list some similar puzzles, remember that he is not being critical. He in only showing you other peoples' ideas on the same subject for the sake of comparison.

This one is different from all the other shuttle puzzles that have been made, and that's all that really matters (unlike the dozens of nearly identical Mario puzzles). This was also really fun to solve!

My husband & son & I drove to Florida to see the last shuttle launch. We were pretty far away, but it was incredible to feel the sonic boom (called the "rumble") when the shuttle took off, plus the camaraderie of being in the company of all the other shuttle watchers. It was like a really nerdy tailgate party. :)

Thank you all for the uplifting comments! They are very helpful. I will look forward to Adam's comments so I can see some of the other similar puzzles.

Kurt: Yes, actually, I am a bit of a cosmophile, so it was on my mind!

I flew out from CA to watch the second to the last shuttle launch but it was scrubbed. Never did get to see one go off in person :( That is one on the bucket list which won't get crossed off.

I did a shuttle puzzle while I was waiting. Don't remember the number or title. I like yours.
