Yep, this one was very tricky. I ended up using a lot of visual logic (this square can't be red, because that would be outside of the triangle), but I trust you that there were logical steps to take. :)

Tricky can be good. I was ready to move on after the fifth solve, tho.

Congrats, Vaggelis. It's a tough one!

very hard but beautiful. kind of sparkly when you view it from a distance.
#10: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Nov 26, 2013
Thanks, Linda. This is one of my hardest, and that's saying something.
#11: portafolio12000 (portafolio12000) on Feb 19, 2014
Difícil, pero puede resolverse lógicamente con un par de suposiciones para asegurar la forme de contactar de las rojas arriba y de las azules abajo a la izquierda.

Too tedious for me at this time.
#14: BlackCat (BlackCat) on Apr 27, 2018
I tried it again and find that it is still too tedious. Great amount of work seems to have gone into its design though.
#15: Velma Warren (Shiro) on Jun 26, 2019
Not fun.
#16: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jun 27, 2019
It's super fun for the logic wonks. ;)
#17: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Jun 27, 2019
Kristen, are you saying it's wonky?
#18: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jun 28, 2019
Now that you mention it. ;)

Excellent puzzle. I would have considered it "deep look ahead" There were several places where I I made an assumption, then disproved the opposite, and some of those required many steps before arriving at the disprove.

I've had this saved as a partial solution for a very long time. I recall picking it up a few times but remained stuck. Just now I took another stab at it, moved some pixels around, and solved it in about ten minutes. Too bad it took me ten years before those ten minutes to get my head on straight.
I love your puzzles, Joe. Often a challenge, always worth the outcome. Thank you!
#22: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Nov 23, 2024
isn't it funny, how the puzzles that were SO HARD to solve when we first started solving, are now [relatively] super easy?
#23: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Nov 23, 2024
Good job, Lollipop! I'm glad you liked it. This one is still hard, I'm pretty sure, lol
