Hey Sarah,
I started at the bottom and thought "What, world's greatest bowling track?".
But the real picture and meaning is interesting indeed.

It's truly amazing the lengths people will go to for funerals. Nice puzzle.

Quite interesting. Not my cup of tea. I don't want anybody spending unnecessary money on me after I'm dead.

burn me up, throw me in a lake, call it a day. ;)

you're both right....it's not for the deceased at all. it's for the living, and the grieving process. if you look at it in one light, the survivors are kinda selfish. but it's what we need, makes us feel better. I doubt too many people at all would condone half the crap that goes on after they die. some is sweet and bittersweet and forever remembered. and some things are just plain pointless. but we do it nonetheless

You left out the part about the greedy undertakers taking advantage of the survivors' grief and convincing them that this is what the dearly departed would want. For some it's necessary closure. If I were really rich and had a bunch of vultures for relatives I would plan a really stupid expensive funeral just to imaging the looks on their faces. As it is, for me a shoe box will do the job just fine.

you're rather big for a shoe box......I suppose a diet is in order. lol ;)

They can borrow one from Shaq.:)

ah-hahahaha! you a funny girl!

let's not get ahead of ourselves. Igor and Cat got way too many plans. Igor anyway. Cat's along for the ride

It's easy to joke when you don't feel the grim reaper breathing down your neck. I always envied my grandmother who was totally aware of her mortality, but not in a morbid way.

Ashes into the river for me!
(after giving away any good parts).

I'm all for donating the useful bits, and letting medical students study the rest. It's not like I'll need to use my body after I'm gone.
