Puzzle Description:

Hi everybody,Destyny here again with the latest report. Well seeing how I'm a grown up girl now and I sit at the table in my booster seat to eat with the family, daddy decided to store my high chair in the basement, cause I kept pushing it around the house and he kept walking into it when he turned around a corner. Silly daddy. He no sooner got it down the basement, and mommy called him into the bedroom to show him this thing that looks like a thermometer. It had a big red + sign on it. After my daddy picked himself off the floor, mommy and him hugged and kissed. Then they told me that as well as playing with my baby dolls,I will be able to play with a real live baby soon. Yayyyyy,I'm going to have another brother or sister soon. Won't that be fun. Well I have to go now gang,I have to practice changing my dolly's diaper so that I'm an expert when the baby comes. See you all soon.

#1: Lollipop (lollipop) on Apr 6, 2013

Congratulations to all! You won't be selling that high chair any time soon ...
#2: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 6, 2013
No apparently not auntie Lollipop, nor the basinet,or the swing,or the extra car seat. Speaking of which, now I need a bigger vehicle. Unless we just drive the 58 Dodge into town, lol.:)
#3: Heather (heatherkewl) on Apr 6, 2013
Congratulations! That is exciting news! Oh the fun Destyny will have with a little sibling. C=
#4: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Apr 6, 2013
Congratulations to Aldege and Niki. You are truly blessed. And a very cute puzzle.
#5: Dave Oas (khpdave) on Apr 6, 2013
You just never know what you're going to learn here, but you know it won't be boring. (Sounds like you'll have to do puzzles bigger than 20x pretty soon) - Congratulations A!
#6: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Apr 6, 2013
wow, cool Al! congrats!

(excerpt from "Polish mother writing to her son" joke):

"we're not sure if it's going to be a boy or girl yet, so I have no idea if you'll be an aunt or an uncle"
#7: Alison P Deem (Indigo1) on Apr 6, 2013
Wow!! I always had trouble reading those dang thermometers too :) Hope Destyny has fun in her new role as big sister!
#8: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 6, 2013
Thx auntie Heather, and auntie Norma, and uncle Dave and uncle Kurt. That's a funny one Kurt,I've never heard that one before.:)

Why is that Dave?,so I can fit Destyny and the baby in there together?

Anyone have any name suggestions? Keep in mind, the name has to be hyphenated. So far we have T.J.,K.J.,J.D.,A.J.,and D.J.:)
#9: Dave Oas (khpdave) on Apr 6, 2013
Well, YEAH! We'll be mighty disappointed if we don't get them both in your puzzles.
#10: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 6, 2013
Oops, sorry auntie Alison, for some reason your comment wasn't there when I first checked. That's funny about the thermometer. I'm sure Destyny will be a great big sister, she's so loving to her dolls.:)
#11: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Apr 6, 2013
Love the joke, Kurt.:)
#12: Susan Duncan (medic25733) on Apr 6, 2013
Congratulations to all! Lots more fun at the Cholette household. Love the puzzle
#13: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Apr 6, 2013
pronounce this name: L-a

my uncle was in court, and both lawyers repeatedly were referring to the child with the pronunciation of "Leah"....finally the mother got so annoyed that she outburst with "Her name is "Ladasha!"

true story....hahahaha!
#14: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Apr 6, 2013
my vote is for K.J..... ;)
#15: Ellen Vollor (evollor) on Apr 6, 2013
Congrats to you all! What about C.J., like Catherine Jaime or Carl John? Don't you already have a K.J.? Sorry Kurt! I love the Polish jokes (I am 1/4 Polish)!
#16: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Apr 6, 2013
Funny Kurt. With all the invented new names these days there are probably several Ladashas running around somewhere out there. Naturally you would go for KJ, Kurt.:) I think I'll wait until I know whether it's a boy or girl.
#17: Jota (jota) on Apr 6, 2013
OMG! Great news! Congrats! As for the name ... as long as it's got a Jota somewhere ;-)
#18: teresa dickens (trdickens2) on Apr 6, 2013
You could always go with Pamela Jade or Phillip Jude and have a PJ. Or why not have twins and have a pair of pj's?
#19: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 6, 2013
Thx auntie Susan,as if we need more fun at the Cholette household, lol. Well another for the conga line. I better get fixed or else I'll be in a conga line in my 80's,lol.:)
#20: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 6, 2013
How about I keep them 20x uncle Dave, and just have the 2 latest kids in them. It will be easier on everyones eyes if I'm not in them.lol.:)
#21: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 6, 2013
That is a funny story uncle Kurt, and yes we already have a K-J.:)
#22: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 6, 2013
C-J works auntie Ellen, but Niki's not big on the name Catharine. If it's a boy were big on Eathyn-Jaimes,and I'm sorry about your luck on being 1/4 polish, lol. It could be worse auntie Ellen, you could be 100% french Canadian, like me.:)
#23: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 6, 2013
LOL,we'll keep that in mind auntie Jota.:)
#24: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 6, 2013
That's really funny auntie teresa. The pair of P-J's,not the twins.lol.:)
#25: Kristen Vognild (Kristen) on Apr 6, 2013
Terrific news!
#26: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 6, 2013
Thx auntie Kristen.:)
#27: John Macdonald (perlwolf) on Apr 6, 2013 [SPOILER]
That's wonderful news Destyny. And, that means that in a little while you'll get to push the high chair around again - but it will be heavier then so you have to eat all your supper and get lots of exercise so that you'll be strong enough to push it really really fast when your new sibling is put into it.

Uncle Kurt was just saying that you don't know yet whether you are going to be a siostra or a brat (that's soeur or fr`ere to you) - but you'll be finding out in a while. You should practice just in case you need to be a brat.

I don't think your daddy and mommy have figured out what the new child 's name is yet. You should ask your dolls what they think the name will be - they probably have some good suggestions.
#28: Jennifer McMahon (kalamalama) on Apr 6, 2013
Congratulations Destyny...and your mommy & daddy, too. I'll bet you'll be the best big sister in the world. How lucky is this baby to have you already in place!
#29: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Apr 6, 2013
hahahaha!

english letter equivalent is indeed "brat"...kudos for knowing that! funny funny!

(pronounced more like "brot" though...but even that's not exactly right)
#30: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Apr 6, 2013
good job al!!
#31: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 7, 2013
Thx uncle John,my daddy would say,un frère ou une soeur, and when I ask my dolls what we should name the baby all they do is cry or giggle. Come to think of it,that's all they ever do. I can never tell if they're happy,or hungry.:)
#32: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 7, 2013
Thx auntie Jennifer,I'm going to do my best to be a good big sister and be as loving to the baby as I am to my dollies.:)
#33: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 7, 2013
Thx uncle David but on what, the puzzle or getting Niki pregnant, lol?:)
#34: valerie o..travis (bigblue) on Apr 7, 2013

#35: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 7, 2013

#36: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Apr 7, 2013
i was going to let it be for both :)
#37: Teresa K (fasstar) on Apr 10, 2013 [SPOILER]
Oh Wow! Congratulations! New baby = more ideas for fun puzzles; more excitement in your life; and more Cholette adventures to tell us about. Yipee! You will have TWO little ones on your lap while you try to create puzzles for us. :-)
#38: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 11, 2013
Thx auntie Teresa, yeah there might be some doozies on the way, lol.:)
#39: Sarah Belsan (haras89) on Apr 11, 2013 [SPOILER]
Congratulations! How many kids does this make for you? I'm pretty new to the message community.

My husband and I have already decided that when we get pregnant, we're not going to find out the gender so each baby is going to have a nickname while in the womb (something his parents did) and the first one will be L' (that's pronounced Lapostrophe) because we thought L-a was pretty silly so we made up our own!
#40: Kristen Vognild (Kristen) on Apr 11, 2013
We called my son Squirt while he was in utero. I've also known a Sqidgy, a Thunder Muffin, and a Cletus (the Fetus). Some friends of mine made extensive lists of boy and girl names, and their joke name was Garbanzo, or Chickpea for a girl.
#41: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 11, 2013
Thx auntie Sarah,it gets a little complicated. I have a son and daughter from my first marriage. They are 38 and 36yrs old. My wife Niki is 32 yrs old and she has a daughter and son from her first marriage, and 2 other boys, then we had our daughter Destyny together, and now were going to have another one together and that's it. I'm going to get fixed. So all together we will have 8 children.:)
#42: Sarah Belsan (haras89) on Apr 11, 2013
I see... Yeah that is a little complicated :) My husband has 7 siblings but they're all from the same marriage so I'm used to big families.
#43: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Apr 12, 2013
My daughter went by Peanut until she was born and my son was Squirt.
#44: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 12, 2013
My son Brad was my buddy, and my first daughter Aimée was peanut, and Destyny is pumpkin.:)
#45: Joel Lynn (furface1) on May 30, 2013
Somehow I missed this puzzle when it was first published, but saw some posts on more recent puzzles referencing this happy news, so I searched for this announcement.

So, belated congratulations to the Cholette family!

Until I read post #41, I was going to comment that you were building hockey team, but now you gotta go for 9 - your own baseball team!

Hope everything goes well!
#46: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jul 29, 2013
Thx Joel Lynn.:)
